Parking Decals and Traffic Fines

All students who bring a vehicle on campus must register that vehicle with the university. Vehicle tag numbers will be required for each decal issued. Decals may be purchased for $10 in the MSU-Meridian Campus Police office, which is located adjacent to the lobby, just inside the main entrance. The student’s MSU account will be charged the $10 parking decal fee; university police officers do not accept direct payment for parking decals.

Traffic fines are assessed to students whose vehicles do not display a current MSU parking decal, to those whose decals are incorrectly displayed, and to those who park improperly. Students must park in the areas designated as Student Parking and will be ticketed for parking in Faculty/Staff/Visitor Parking.

Fines may be paid in the MSU-Meridian Office of Student Services.
