The Mississippi State University-Meridian Division of Business serves the people and businesses of east Mississippi and beyond. Through an enriched learning community, students are prepared to think, communicate, and collaborate ethically in today’s diverse, technology-driven, global business environment. Our Division provides a collegial academic atmosphere that nurtures students and encourages faculty to be innovative and to integrate teaching, research, and service. We seek to advance frontiers of scholarship by focusing on select areas of business research consistent with our resources and expertise.

The Division of Business embraces its role as a major contributor to the economic development of downtown Meridian and the East Mississippi/West Alabama area through targeted research and the transfer of ideas and technology to the public, supported by faculty and staff relationships with industry, community organizations, and government entities.
