SYMPOSIUM ATTENDEES
Women leaders (L to R) Veldore F. Young, Doris Ann Thompson, Meridian Mayor Cheri Barry, Sandra Vaughn, Evadna Lyons, and Linda Farmer inspired attendees with their own life experiences at the recent "Women in Leadership Symposium" held at Mississippi State University-Meridian.  Dr. Cora Norman, former director of the Mississippi Humanities Council, served as the keynote speaker, and the symposium’s Honorary Steel Magnolia award was presented to Beth Clay, an attorney from Meridian and founder of The Clay Firm.
