BAT-Healthcare Services

The Bachelor of Applied Technology (B.A.T.) degree with a concentration in Healthcare Services offers students who have completed technical course work in health-related professions at the community college the opportunity to apply up to 28 of those hours toward completion of a Bachelor’s degree. The concentration focuses on courses in health policy, managed care, and other pertinent topics for today’s changing healthcare environment.

U.S. Department of Labor statistics estimate that four of the top 10 occupations with greatest potential for job growth in the coming decade are healthcare related.

Graduates of this program will be qualified to assume leadership roles in healthcare administration and will have a working knowledge in management and psychology as well as the communication skills needed to oversee professional healthcare workers in a wide variety of healthcare delivery organizations.
