Bachelor of Applied Science in Professional Studies

Advance your career with the Bachelor of Applied Science in Professional Studies

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Professional Studies degree offers students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree the opportunity to apply technical education credits earned from a community college or the military to a bachelor’s degree.

This program provides the pathway for you to complete the degree by allowing you to transfer up to 60 hours of earned credits, 45 of which may be technical, that may include approved military and experiential learning credits. Featuring an individualized curriculum, you will be able to utilize up to three specific emphasis areas to complete the degree program requirements and meet your individual career objectives.

Emphasis Areas

The emphasis areas total 30 credit hours at the upper-division level.

These 30 credits equal 10 total classes and can be completed in one of two ways: either choose two emphasis areas and take 15 credits in one subject and 15 credits in a second subject OR choose one emphasis area and take all 30 credits in that single subject.
