Communication: Broadcasting

Communication: Broadcasting

With the Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting, students learn to produce content for television broadcasting with a mixture of face-to-face instruction, online classes, and internships in various communication facilities.

Meridian Community College and Mississippi State University-Meridian have established a partnership program specifically for students interested in media broadcasting. A student may attend MCC for two years, complete the Media Production Technology course of study, and transfer up to 62 hours to MSU Meridian. The student will then complete 62 credit hours at MSU-Meridian to fulfill the Bachelor of Arts degree in communication with a concentration in broadcasting. The total degree process can be fulfilled without leaving Meridian.

Graduates from this program work in a variety of media related fields including television, radio and film.
