Join us in person or virtually and learn from our main speaker, Dr. Inez Kelleher, followed by breakout sessions featuring group discussion and goal-setting.
Dr. Kelleher is an orthopedic surgeon and an excellent model for #BreaktheBias as she has many achievements for which she has overcome societal stereotypes.
Available Breakout Sessions
Women in Leadership – Mrs. Betty Cryer, retired Chief Nursing Officer who climbed the success ladder through 40+ years of nursing service.
Avoiding Burnout – Setting Boundaries – Heidi Vonderheide is faculty with the Physician Assistant program with an interest in effective teaching strategies and student/professional wellness where she serves as the Academic Coordinator. Prior to joining MSU, she worked clinically for 14 years in Allergy and Asthma and ENT while moving around the country with her active duty spouse and her three children.
The first 50 registrants will recieve a free boxed lunch. They available options are Turkey, Ham, or Veggie. To register, please email Shey Washburn, dwashburn@meridian.msstate.edu, and include which option you would like. Virtual attendance will also be available at the link below.
