Advance Your Career with the Bachelor of Applied Science

The Bachelor of Applied Science degree offers students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree the opportunity to apply technical education credits earned from a community college or the military to a bachelor’s degree.

This program provides the pathway for you to complete the degree by allowing you to transfer up to 60 hours of earned credits, 45 of which may be technical, that may include approved military and experiential learning credits. Featuring an individualized curriculum, you will be able to utilize up to three specific emphasis areas to complete the degree program requirements and meet your individual career objectives.

Emphasis Areas

The emphasis areas total 30 credit hours at the upper-division level. MSU-Meridian offers emphasis in Communication, Communication/BroadcastCriminology, History, Psychology, Event & Hospitality Services, Healthcare Services, Social Work, General BusinessGeneral Education, Mental HealthSpecial Education and Trades Supervision.
