SALES MANAGER

The MSU Riley Center is looking for a motivated, well organized and experienced sales professional to prospect, pitch and secure conference business with associations, corporations and other groups.  The position requires a proven producer, who can sell both in person and over the phone and is persistent, self-motivated and works well both independently and in a team situation.

Minimum requirements: a Bachelor’s degree in business, public relations, marketing, communications, hospitality management or other related fields, as approved by Human Resources Management; four years experience in sales or sales management within conference, convention and/or hotel/hospitality business or related field; or any equivalent combination of education and years of experience will be considered.
